North Toronto Christian School is a co-educational Christian elementary and high school, not affiliated with any specific church or denomination. The Bible is used as an integral part of the school curriculum and all matters of counselling, discipline, and school life are governed by a commitment to Biblical principles and values.
This Friday, November 25th, is a ‘Professional Development’ day for NTCS. There will be no classes for students. Students will resume classes on Monday, November 28th.
I have a lot of great memories from my time at NTCS/TYS. In particular, I remember our trips to Chandos fondly. They were a really unique opportunity that sparked a love for the outdoors that has stayed with me to this day. On a recent camping trip, I could almost hear Dr. Jay's voice reminding me that settlers used birch bark as kindling for their campfires.

One of my best memories would be Mr. Collins' senior year law class. From the subject matter that we learned, to the essays that we wrote, to the mock trials that we were regularly engaged in, it was a course that was not only fun and interesting but one that had us always thinking critically. We were constantly challenged and encouraged to bring our best selves forward, and it was that expectation that provided me with the tools and mindset necessary to pursue whatever opportunity I wanted. ...
