Hello All,
Great job on completing your online learning for this past week!

Let's continue focusing on data organization and analysis this week.

By the end of this week, you should be able to:
- show how data are used and misused in statistical studies
- identify different types of data
- understand that there is variability in data
- analyse single sources of data or related sources

Tasks:
March 30: Go to E-learning Ontario (https://lah.elearningontario.ca/CMS/public/exported_courses/MDM4U/exported/inter...), and select Unit 4. Complete the first activity: Introduction to Data.  Make notes as you study through (i.e.terms and definitions, answers to the questions, etc.).

March 31: Learn the principles of data collection by reading your textbook pp.206-210. You need to have a good understanding, and should be able to explain the seven different types of sampling techniques on page 207.  Complete questions #1-5 and 8.

April 2: Go to E-learning Ontario (https://lah.elearningontario.ca/CMS/public/exported_courses/MDM4U/exported/inter...), and select Unit 4. Complete Activity 5: Collecting Primary Data Sampling the Population.  Make notes as you study through (i.e.terms and definitions, answers to the questions, etc.).

April 3: Continue learning about Bias, by reading pages 233-240. By the end, you should be able to explain and differentiate the four types of biases (on page 233). Carefully read through the examples in this section. Complete odd number questions on pages 240-243.
