Resources. During the time we are not meeting in class, we will be making use of the CEMC Courseware which includes teaching videos, exercises and solutions. We will also have practice exercises from our textbook and extra handouts or links to other resources as needed--including GeoGebra of course! A copy of the relevant pages of the textbook will be uploaded for anyone who does not have their text with them.
Courseware materials are available here:  https://courseware.cemc.uwaterloo.ca/11

Learning Goals for the course are in the syllabus given out the first day of class. A copy is attached for your reference.

The Learning Log for the week is attached to the post detailing the work for the week. Please list the specific things you work on each day including what videos you watched and which questions you tried even if you were not able to complete them. If you use any other resources (e.g. YouTube, tutoring sites, etc.) list those as well.

Email Communication. It is imperative that you include your name and course code in the subject for every email you send your teacher.

Submitting work. You must send all of the work in a single file. Use .pdf format unless otherwise specified. Name your files following the instructions for the assignment. (e.g. 3.6asgn_brooksd.pdf using your own name.) Please follow this carefully as tracking down your work may not be your teacher’s priority.
If you do not have a scanner, you can use your phone with one of these apps: https://pdf.wondershare.com/mobile-app/free-pdf-scanner-app.html

Questions and help. Feel free to email your teacher about any aspect of resources or assigned work. Answers to your questions will be posted with the relevant work so that everyone can use the information. If you are asking about content in a video please include the time on the video so that  you get a specific answer to your question.

And if you can’t get enough math… the regular POTW (aka problem-of-the-week) and POTM from CEMC will be posted in the Mathletic Department section of the bulletin board. Some of it will be specific to content we are covering in grade 12 math and is helpful whether you are interested in writing a math contest or not.

And remember God's promise to us and we face uncertain times:  "God gives the Spirit without Limit" (Yes, the Bible does mention limits!)
